Hi yokoono,
I succeeded in re-installing the firmware. That did the trick and the TV is now up and running.
Only a couple of questions.
Startup-logo has now changed from Hitachi to Vestel.. Can it be changed back to Hitachi?
The screen is turned upside down, why is that? Can I change it back to normal in any way?
Do you know how to save the profile on your TV?. Saving is done on the stick and does not spoil the software.
If Hitachi menus are trying to solve it. If he does not have Hitachi, we can completely cancel the logo.

See if the image returns to normal with this software. Enter the menu, type 1505 and update.

Menu + 1505 and update did not work.
I get the message "Update failed" the very second I push "Yes" to start the update.
Am I doing anything wrong or is the file corrupt maybe?

OK, I will take a picture today, after my workday is over.
Actually the first thing I did, was putting the update-file on the local disk by accident, meaning there was not even an update file on the USB-drive.
It worked alot better once the file was actually put into the USB-drive.
@teknovest Do you have the firmware files for panel VES550QNES-2D-U01 ?
Thats the panel mounted in my TV.
I found another request in this forum where you helped a person with that file.
Maybe the cause of my flipped, upside-down picture is a cause of wrong firmware VES550QNEL-2D-U01 installed in my 17mb120 board.
Or What do you think @yokoono ?

1.Teknovest can only help if the TV is sold in Turkey. It does not offer export support.
2. The owner may have tried to repair by replacing the motherboard. And the motherboard should be configured for another panel. I will check.

The mechanic cannot return the image. Only from software. We need to find a software for your panel type.
