....I have nothing in the archive for the JVC LT-40VU83A. I know the motherboard is 17MB120. To find an equivalent software I need the panel code....

Unfortunately but I have nothing for main tv (17MB120) and panel VES400QNSS-3D-U02. Neither for the stick nor for the programmer. You can read the contents of the flash memories with the programmer and rewrite them to other new memories. Sometimes it works.

Just a full software for 17MB120. I'm just not sure it's for the TV panel. Try on your own responsibility. I think you know the procedure.

Unfortunately in the service menu Vestel there is no flipp or mirror function to return the image. You need to look for a software for the panel on your TV. Enter menu + 4725 and take a picture and post here.

As shown this software is for panel VES430QNUL-2D-U01. On TV is VES400QNSS-3D-U02. Here is the problem.
But I have no software for the TV panel. In the current situation you can do CORE UPDATE with the software for 17MB120 on the first page. With MENU + 1505. At your own risk.

The same panel is always displayed. --> VES430QNUL-2D-U01
What else can I try?

Repeat: core update is made from MENU and by typing 1505. Then follow the instructions. It would be worth trying to enter the menu and do a factory reset.
